INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH NETWORK ON INFANTS AND CHILD PROTECTION SYSTEMS

HYBRID MEETING

FACE-TO-FACE AND ONLINE VIA ZOOM

September 11th and 12th 2023

University of Sussex, UK

Dear IRNICP members,

We hope to see you at the IRNICP meeting in September. The meeting will be held at the University of Sussex, UK. There will be two sessions: Monday, September 11th from 14.00 - 16.30 and Tuesday, September 12th from 9.30 - 16.00. The meeting will be hybrid so that participants may join the meeting online or in person.

As in prior years, the Network meeting has been arranged to precede the EUSARF conference (https://eusarf.org/#submit) which runs from 13-15 September 2023. Many of you will be planning to attend the conference and/or have submitted abstracts. However, please note that you do not have to register for the conference to attend the network meeting.

For those who attend the IRNICP meeting in person, lunch will be provided on both Monday and Tuesday. Additionally, we plan to arrange an evening meal together on Monday, 11 September. We have funding to cover the costs of room hire and lunches, but we may need to ask you to pay for your evening meal if you attend the dinner. Lunch on 11 September will precede the afternoon meeting.

Further details about the meeting and other arrangements will be sent along in due course. Please be advised:

To take advantage of the investment in the Network website, future communications about the pre-EUSARF network meeting will come through the network website. You will find the network website here:

https://www.irnicp.org/

There are roughly 70 colleagues who have joined the network so far. The network website is a convenient way to share your work with a large group of colleagues.

Beginning next week, email from the Network will have IRNICP: < message > on the subject line. The message will indicate whether a post, an announcement, or a new publication has been added to the website.

Please open your emails from the network to stay informed.

Lastly, the programme will include a business meeting during which time Network members will have an opportunity to discuss plans for the future.

We look forward to seeing you in September.

With gratitude,

Jane Barlow (jane.barlow@spi.ox.ac.uk)

Harriet Ward (harriet.ward@education.ox.ac.uk)
